RECENT BVA PROJECTS
General Mills, helped facilitate the creation and implementation of
a new organizational structure and assisted the organization in
developing their first long-range strategic plan.
Deborah Obalil, Alliance of Artists Communities, is working with
the founders to develop organizational structures, administrative
policies and procedures, and a board of directors as they move the
Institute out of Brown University and establish it as an independent
and Perishable Theatre
Allio & Associates, is leading through a strategic planning process
that will help them outline their joint and individual visions,
needs, and goals as well as develop strategies and tactics for
fulfilling them as they join forces in their capital campaign
Joe Patten, JMP Associates, is working with the Director and
Board on a strategic board development plan and a long-range
Christopher Fowler, Chronofish Corp, is evaluating and making
recommendations on computer, networking, and data management needs
as well as assisting them with minor cost-effective adjustments to
their computer systems and networking.
Sharon Hartley is advising on their marketing strategies and
goals. She is helping them prioritize goals and develop systems to

their organizational foundations and administrative practices so
that they can function more effectively using their current board,
committee, and volunteer network.
Charlotte Britland will be developing new financial and
Guy Medaglia, Roger Williams Medical Center, is assisting
the board and company with creating action plans and processes which
will optimize the organizations operations and increase the level of
security for the organization and so the company and its board are
not constantly concerned about their financial viability and can
focus on their creative objectives and artistic growth. The project
will target areas of board development, fundraising structures,
organizational policies, marketing, and administrative practices.
Barry Bainton (BR Bainton Associates) Daren MacDonald, and
Jim Mahoney have teamed up to assist the Gamm (formerly known as
the Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre) in the transition to their new
space in the Pawtucket Armory. Barry will be providing advice to
the group as they develop the business/strategic plan for their new
location. Daren is working with the Marketing Committee to develop
a comprehensive marketing / audience development plan that will
address retaining former patrons and attracting new audiences from
the Pawtucket area. Jim is helping to coordinate a major
fundraising event as well as assisting the organization in creating
long-term fundraising/development strategies.
Anita Berger is working with the company to develop guidelines,
procedures and policies that help facilitate organizational
Sharon Hartley is working with to finalize their marketing plan,
providing advice on marketing their new creative movement video as
well as performances; how best to reach their target audience; and
how to track the effectiveness of their marketing efforts.
List Academy of
Music & Arts
Brenda Nagle, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, is assisting the
organization with their financial planning, including helping them
develop a budget and tracking systems and providing guidance in
fundraising and development planning.
Looking Glass Theatre
Stan DeAngelis, Work Place Dynamics, has just begun to help
develop a community-based fundraising plan.
Gene Yoon, Trion Communications, is developing a graphic
identity for their fundraising campaign "Art Unfurled."
New Urban Arts
Michelle Girasole, Next Step Web Marketing, is helping
understand their current web audience by working with them to create
an e-mail survey and ways to capture more information on users
through their website.
Northeast Multicultural College Administrators Association
Azim Mazagonwalla is assisting the with questions related to
their 501(c)3 application.
Olneyville Arts Collaborative
Brian Newberry, Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP, is advising the
group on their property rights vis-à-vis the parking lot adjacent to
Providence Black Repertory Company
Jason Pontius, White Whale Web Services, is working with the
organization to develop their new website.
Maritime Heritage Foundation
Ted Old is working with the board of directors and staff to
develop a strategic plan focusing on board evaluation/structure and
South County Chamber Singers
Pat Cotoia is assisting the organization in identifying and
prioritizing their audience development, group membership, and board
